Welcome to our homestead! 

We live up here in the majestic hinterlands of North Idaho. Our goal is to become as self-sufficient as possible and to help others do the same along the way. 

We have a large garden of raised beds and a greenhouse, all built from repurposed materials. We also forage for wild food and medicinals.

Our rabbitry consists of 9 beautiful breeders:  silver fox, rex, giant german spotted and flemish giant. We raise them for meat, both for us and our dogs, and for the hides which will be preserved and used. Their poop pellets make great fertilizer in the garden.

We will soon be selling meat and pet quality rabbits as well.

 

We have a mixed flock of chickens to provide us with eggs and to make us compost for the garden. We raised them all from hatchlings. We have an incubator and plan to hatch more chicks next spring.

 

I've been studying herbs and natural medicine for 30 years. Its one of my passions in life. Hundreds of people have come to me for my different remedies and for knowledge over the years. My dream of having my own Apothecary is coming to fruition thanks to the love and care of Ron.

I'm a warrior in the fight against Chronic Lyme and selling herbal and homestead products is now my only way to make a living. Ron is retired and we work this homestead together.
